Nails Of The Month ~ Spray Paint

I haven’t done a Nails of The Month post in awhile but I wanted to make sure I did one for the nails I have right now because I am in love with them. We got the idea for these nails from part of the design I had for the 4th of July. To me these remind me of spray paint and they are just perfect for me:

We just had a white base with 3 neon colors put on top. They are definitely something that I will be doing again just with different colors. I love how I haven’t ever seen anything like them anywhere and they are just fun for summer time. A funny story to go along with these nails is the only person other than family that has said anything about them was a random guy when I was out getting lunch one day while I was at work. Why is it that guys seem to be the only ones who ever notice my nails?

Nails Of The Month ~ Pink and Blue

So I got my nails done last week so it is time for another nails of the month post. If you want to check out last months nails you can click here. This time I decided that I was just going to have 2 colors on them and I chose the same pink I did last month because I still love it and then I chose a blue to go with it. Here are the pictures of them this month.

Flip-Flops

This week for the Writers Workshop there were two prompts that I wanted to write about so I figured that I would just write about one today and the other one on Thursday. Right now I am going to write about the latest thing that my cat has destroyed. I am sure most of you know that Elinore was abused before I got adopted her so she tends to have weird quirks.

After I had her for about 6 months I got Sylvia and then all of my flip-flops started to look like one of them was clawing them. For the longest time I thought it was Sylvia because she is the one who has front claws and I didn’t see how Elinore be able to do that to them since she has no front claws.

After I moved back in with my grandparents my grandma finally caught the cat that was literally destroying any flip-flops that she could find which also included ones that my grandpa kept in his closet. It was Elinore!!!!!!!!!!!!! She bites them and then pulls parts of the foam off. If she find any flip-flops that are on the ground she will chew them up and destroy them. I can’t even begin to tell you how many pairs I have had to replace because she destroys them.

Here are a few pictures of a few that we just leave on the ground for her to destroy.

So as you can see she loves to chew them up. I find she mainly does it when she is mad at me for some reason or if she got in trouble. I have started just buying them when they are super cheap at the end of summer and giving them to her. I find that she likes her old purple on the best and I can always tell when she has been chewing on it because there will be little pieces of purple all over the place in my room.

Nails Of The Month-Spring/Easter Nails

I don’t think anyone who reads my blog knows that I get my nails done every 3 weeks and I am always doing something crazy with them because I think it is fun and it is one way I can do something crazy and if I end up not liking it then I only have to wait 3 weeks for it to go away. People always like to see them on my private Facebook page so I thought that I would post them on my blog because you guys might like to see them and it will also give other idea’s for things to do on their nails.

This time we did bright colors because I love bright colors and they look a little bit like fun colored Easter eggs. We used 3 colors this time and here are a few pictures of them:

Changes Over The Last Year

Wow this past year has changed me in so many ways. I can’t even imagine where I would be if my life hadn’t changed that much. I am going to write about the changes over the last year for me and some of the people in my life. All the changes has been so good for me and also for the people that are in my life.

It was this time last year that they let Misti go at work. I still remember the day they let her go like it was yesterday even though I still wish that is was just a bad dream and that I could wake up for it. I don’t know that it will ever be the same here without her being here. It is even harder to wrap my head around the fact that she has had a baby and is now a mother.

Also anyone who has followed my blog from the start will know that my daughters birthday is coming up and that always makes it a tough time of year for me. I am finding that this year is going to be harder than some of the past years have been. It is always hard to gauge how a year will be for me but I think this is going to be hard for me.

Well that was quite the tangent so lets get back to the post. Other than those things I am still pretty much blogging about the same things. I really haven’t changed what I blog about because I have always just blogged about my life and for the most part my life doesn’t change that much.

Mama’s Losin’ It-Changes over the last year
