I don’t have much to say about this quote because believe in it one hundred percent. I am a true believer of mind over matter and about knowing that if you only think of negative things then you end up having a lot of problems.

In The Context of Love by Linda K. Sienkiewicz was a hard to book to read at certain points in the story. I don’t get very many books that I want to read because I am super interested in them but I have a hard time because of the subject matter in them. I didn’t give up on this book like I have with others and I am glad that I didn’t because I truly enjoyed this story and the authors style of writing. I felt myself feel the things that Angelica felt throughout the entire story because I got so wrapped in who she is and everything that happened to her. This book is a heavier book than any that I have read in the past few months but even saying that I loved this book and it is one that I will be keeping in my personal collection because I don’t think I could ever get rid of it. I would tell everyone that this is a heavier book but give it a chance because I think you will end up loving it.

Angelica Schirrick wonders how her life could have gotten so far off-track. With two children in tow, she begins a journey of self-discovery that leads her back home to Ohio. It pains her to remember the promise her future once held and the shattering revelations that derailed her life.

Linda K. Sienkiewicz is a published poet and fiction writer, cynical optimist, fan of corgis, tea drinker, and wine lover from Michigan. Her poetry, short stories, and art have been published in more than fifty literary journals, including Prairie Schooner, Clackamas Literary Review, Spoon River, and Permafrost.
She received a poetry chapbook award from Bottom Dog Press, and an MFA from the University of Southern Maine. Linda lives with her husband in southeast Michigan, where they spoil their grandchildren and then send them back home.

Guessing At Normal by Gail Ward Olmsted was an excellent book. This author found me through Goodreads, and I am so glad that she did. I will be reviewing another book by her next Wednesday, and because I loved this book as much as I did, I can’t wait to read that book and see how I like it. I loved this book because I loved how the characters seemed like they are real people because that makes me get into the book even more. I was sad when this book ended because I loved the characters in this book. I also was a huge of how this story was told and how the author was able to make me feel like I was there with the characters. If you are looking for a good chick lit book to read, I would recommend this one to you. Also, keep your eyes open next week because I will be reviewing another book by this author

Back In The Saddle by Ruth Logan Herne was an excellent book to read. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I am so glad that I read this book because I now have another great author that I can add to my list of great authors that I want to read in the future. I like all the characters in this book right from the start. I did spend most of the book hoping that Colt wouldn’t leave after the market recovered and what not. After I finished this book, I can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out. I fell in love with the entire cast of people in this book, and I can’t wait to catch up with them in the next book but also to find out more about the other characters. If you love chick lit, I know you will love this book, and it is also one that I will be keeping in my collection of books.
Ruth Logan Herne has more than half a million books in print, including fifteen Love Inspired contemporary novels. Back in the Saddle is the first book in her new western romance series. Waking Amy by Julieann Dove was a book I was excited to read because I saw it all over the place and I had to know what all the hype was about. That being said it was a good book, but I couldn’t figure out what all the hype was about. It isn’t the best book I have read lately, but it was one that I will give four stars too. For some reason, I just couldn’t get into the story and at times the book seemed to go super slow. I liked Amy because I could see a lot of myself in her, so I know how she was feeling. I wasn’t a super big fan of Mark because he seemed to be the type of guy that just likes to play women and I don’t like that. All in all, it was an okay book just not the right fit for me. If you like chick lit then I would check this one out because I know most people who like chick lit would love this book.
Amy Whitfield is blindsided when she comes home and finds a note on the fridge from her husband, Wesley, stating that after four years of marriage, he’s leaving her. Amy was in the midst of trying to spice things up, to bring life back to their boring marriage. It seems now that she was too late.
As Amy sits with her head between her knees, trying to figure out what to do next, a call comes from Mercer General Hospital. The ER nurse is telling Amy’s answering machine that Wesley has been in a car accident.
When Amy arrives at the hospital, she finds her husband in a coma. The doctors say there is no sign of brain damage, and Wesley will eventually wake up. Relieved, Amy sees this as her second chance: the chance to get it right this time. To channel the girl Wesley won’t leave when he regains consciousness… She just needs some help to pull it off. After all, she was voted girl most likely to die a virgin in high school.
Amy would never figure on getting that help from Mark Reilly…Wesley’s doctor! He’s a non-committer, too-cute-for-his-own-good bachelor, and completely the guy Amy begins falling for. It’s a race against time to see who wakes up first—Amy or her husband.
