Charles Dudley Warner-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The Week

This weeks quote is by Charles Dudley Warner.

Charles Dudley Warner

I loved this quote because it is so true.  Some of the best gifts I have ever been given are ones that cost nothing but the person put their time and energy into making them.  It is always more about the thought than the amount of money spent.

Quotes I Love-Writer Workshop

Quotes

This weeks for the writers workshop I am going to write about number 1 which is a quote I love. As some of you may know I post a quote every week because I love quotes and I love to share quotes that I love with other people. If you want to check those out you can click here and scroll through them. The one quote I have loved since I heard it is:strong.jpg
I love this quote because it is so true.  I first saw this quote after I had my daughter and I struck me as true because I never thought I would be able to place my daughter for adoption.  Like I always say when people ask me how I get through life “I don’t have an option but to keep going because I can’t just die”.  You just have to put one foot in front of the other and know that in time things will pass.

Here are a few other quotes that I am loving right now:

Oprah Winfrey Vince LombardiJimmy DeanC. S. Lewis Robin Williams

What quote are you loving right now?

Here are the prompts for this week’s so if you want to join in you can pick one and write your post:
1. Share a quote you love.
2. Take a line from a song you love and turn it into the title of your next blog post. Let the content follow.
3. Saturday morning at your house…
4. Best or worst gift you ever gave.
5. Something someone did that put a smile on your face.
6. How old were you when you stopped believing in Santa?

Roy L Smith-Quote Of The Week

Roy L. Smith

I have decided that I am going to have Christmas quotes for the next couple of weeks to get in the holiday spirit.  It is always hard for me to get into the spirit of the holiday’s because of past experiences with  the holiday but I am not getting into that here.  I loved this because it is true if you don’t have the spirit of Christmas in your heart you will never find it under your tree.

The Big 30!

The Big 30

Today is my 30th birthday.  It is hard for me to believe that I am not 30.  It seems like just yesterday I turned 21.  When I turned 21 I decided that I wasn’t going to have anymore birthdays so why they keep coming is still a mystery to me.  I decided that I wanted to post a few quotes and leave it at that.

Oprah Winfrey-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The WeekThis weeks quote is by Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah Winfrey

I loved this quote when I saw it because it is so true.  If you are always looking at what you don’t have you will never be able to see what you do have.  I have started to try and focus on the things I do have because when I focus on what I don’t have I found that I was more negative and I don’t want to be like that.

I have never heard of Giving Tuesday but I think it is a great idea.  I do wish that things like this were more widely talked about so that more good to happen in this world.  I don’t have many thoughts this week so let me know what you think in the comments below.

Vince Lombardi-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The WeekThis weeks quote is by Vince Lombardi.

I agree with this quote.  It says a lot about a person when you see what they do with what they have.  You see rich people at times not wanting to help others but then you see people who have nothing or next to nothing always giving away the little bit that they do have because they see people who need it more than they feel they do.  Those are just my thoughts on it all.

Jimmy Dean-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The WeekThis weeks quote is by Jimmy Dean.

Jimmy Dean

The funny think about this quote is the fact that I saw for the first time a few weeks ago when I got a new phone case from Phone Case Of The Month and this was the quote that was on the little card that comes with each case you get.  I knew once I saw the quote again that I had to use it.  It is so true and something I know I need to be reminded of all the time.  I am finding myself in a weird mental state as of late so this quote came into my life at the right time.  This is one I am going to keep on my desk at work because I need the reminder.

Harriet Beecher Stowe-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The WeekThis weeks quote is by Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Harriet Beecher Stowe

I think this is one of the best quotes that I have read in a long time.  I know that the times I feel like giving up and don’t that those things I accomplish are such  huge things because I had to work so hard to achieve them.  I also have been known to just give up and even today I sit there and wonder if I ever could have finished it and accomplished my goals.

Those are my thoughts on this weeks quote.  What do you think of this quote by Harriet Beecher Stowe?
