I agree with this quote because we have no idea who will turn into or what we will become because we have no idea what we will go through in our lives.
What do you think of this weeks quote by William Shakespeare?
Another week has come to an end, and I am wondering how we are already in the first week of March. Where in the heck has this year gone. The older I get, the faster time seems to go.
Those are all the posts from this past week. Next week I have a quote that will be live on Monday and then reviews rest of the week. If there is anything you would like to see more of, please let me know because I am always looking for things to blog about and what not. I hope you all have had a great week and I will see you back here next week.

Mukhabarat, Baby! My Life as a Wartime Spy for the CIA by Eric Burkhart was an amazing book, and I was sad when it came to an end. I loved that the author included bits of humor and his personality came through while I was reading the book. I really can’t say enough great things about this book and this author. I loved all the stories that he told, and I loved getting a little bit of a behind the scenes view of what working for the CIA is like. I am finding that I love books like this because the stories are true and I love to read true stories. I spend a good portion of the time that I was reading this book smiling because I love his sense of humor and his style of writing. I would recommend this book to everyone because it is an amazing story and one that I think most people would love.
About The Book
This is the story of a young American who would eventually fulfill his dream of becoming a CIA Case Officer, only to have a promising career cut short after having been purposely poisoned by a contact.
Eric Burkhart was raised in Europe in a bilingual household, and accepted a job in Africa right out of college. Upon his return to the United States, he was hired as an Immigration Agent in Laredo, Texas, working Inspections on one of the busiest port-of-entries connecting the United States and Mexico. This experience is detailed in this humorous, occasionally heartbreaking memoir about choosing to be a survivor.
In 2000, Burkhart accepted a position as a Case Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency. The book includes details of both the notoriously arduous hiring process and the rigorous training program, including Burkhart’s eventual successful completion of the Espionage Course taught at the famous “Farm”. Burkhart’s first overseas working experience was in war-torn Kosovo, where he was unwittingly poisoned by an unstable intelligence contact. Burkhart would struggle with the repercussions of this episode for the remainder of his career, and eventually be obliged to accept full medical retirement from the CIA.
However, before retiring, Burkhart completed tours in Iraq and Africa. His time spent in the Green Zone almost immediately following the occupation of Baghdad, constitutes the majority of this enlightening book. Burkhart exposes the reader to the human element within the CIA, and we are introduced to a variety of characters, some who will seem familiar, and some who reveal the eccentricities we expect with this kind of occupation.
Follow Burkhart through the battlefields of Iraq, past the Iraqi Insurgency, and to his next assignment in Africa. Burkhart leaves no emotion unexpressed as he details his medical struggles with the horrific damage caused to his body from Toxic Exposure. Wracked by pain, Burkhart reaches the point where he must consider quality of life issues, and has to accept retirement as a necessary decision. Burkhart has a story to tell, and leaves no stone unturned during this turbulent time both in his life, and in our history.
About The Author
Eric Burkhart was born in North Carolina in 1965, and raised in France by his mother while his father was serving in Vietnam. Eric’s parents retired to San Antonio, Texas in 1978, and Eric has considered himself a Texan since that time.
After completing college, Burkhart relocated to South Africa for a job in community planning and design. After returning to the United States in 1994, Eric started a career in federal service by becoming a Federal Agent. In 1999 he moved over to the CIA, which became his passion and focus in life. After being poisoned by while working in Kosovo in 2001, Burkhart was eventually obliged to medically retire, but not before extending his career to include tours in Iraq and Africa. Mukhabarat, Baby! is Burkhart’s first book.

Starting From Lost by SK Wills surprised me because I didn’t think I would like it but I ended up loving it. I didn’t know if I would like Hannah when the book started because she didn’t seem like someone that I would get along with. But once I was a few chapters into the book I began to like her. She has the kind of personality that bother me, but they usually end up growing on me. I felt bad for Hannah and what happened to before the book started and I love watching, and she moved on and learned more about herself and life. In the end, I fell in love with the characters and this authors style of writing. I can’t wait to read another book by this author and I am sure that almost everyone would end up loving this book like I did.
About The Book
Love is a risk. If you lose it all, would you dare to risk it twice?
Hannah Rogers is lost: cynical, insecure, and withdrawn. Skeletons forged through a bad breakup that should have been a marriage proposal. Now four years later, Hannah follows her dead-end job to the big city where her only hope is to survive the next eight months as her flirtatious boss’s personal assistant. The last thing her predictable life needs is to collide with the boy responsible for breaking her heart, or the twist of fate that sends a sexy new neighbor to awaken feelings she’s long since put to bed.
Alex Sorrento doesn’t have any room in his life for another pet project. He’s already put aside his career and his personal dreams to follow his half-sister Mackenzie to the big city. Lost in the guilt over the events that nearly took her life, he feels he owes her that much. When Mackenzie befriends the new girl on the second floor, Alex finds himself defenseless against the sizzling chemistry between them and the sadness in her eyes. Can he protect Hannah from her ex without losing his heart?
In this turbulent journey about self-discovery, forgiveness, and love, some second chances aren’t worth taking, but others have their own rewards.

S.K. Wills grew up with reading in her blood; a favorite pastime passed down thanks to her two beautiful grandmas. Wanting to inspire others, like good books inspire her, she added “write a romance novel” to her bucket list, and ultimately, checked it off. Writing makes her soul happy, and since she’s now hooked on story-crafting, she’s decided to stick with it for as long as it will have her. S.K. lives in Southeastern Michigan, and juggles expertly (or so she thinks!) also being a passionate marketer and entrepreneur helping other authors reach their writing dreams. She fuels her insatiable dream-chasing with what some would consider an unhealthy amount of coffee, and she wouldn’t have her crazy busy life any other way. This was a prompt from the writers workshop a few weeks back add I still wanted to share the channels that I am loving so that you can check them out as well. I watch tons of YouTube video now that I don’t tons to do at work right now, so I want to share some of my favorite ones. To pick these, I went through my history of video’s I watched and picked channels that I saw over and over again.
Fail Army-I watch these videos the minute I get the email saying they uploaded a new video. I love watching the crazy things that people do.
CoffeeBreakwithDani-I loves this channel because she is always so positive and she just makes me smile. She has a beauty channel, but sometimes she does other type videos. She also someone that I trust what she says.
TwoBabyMamas-These two are pregnant with their second baby, and I can’t stop watching them. I have been following them since they were trying to conceive their first daughter so I can’t wait for them to have their second daughter. I also find their story interesting because of everything they have to do to get pregnant.
LastWeekTonight-I loves this channel because I usually agree with what he says but he also talks about things I haven’t heard of before, and I love staying informed about things that happen in the world.
Glam&Gore-This lady won the NYX Face Awards and since then I have loved watching all of her tutorials because she always makes me laugh and she is amazing at what she does.
Philip DeFranco-I has watched this channel for years, and I will continue to watch it as long as he makes videos.
CaseyNeistat-I just recently started watching his video’s, and I love them because they are short daily vlogs, and he has had several viral videos, so he just has an unusual style to his videos and I love that about his videos.
Happily Houseless-I found this channel back in December and since then I have been hooked because of the medical stuff he has had to deal with the past few months.
Kristen Leanne-I loves this channel and to be honest; I am not 100% sure why. I watch all of her video’s, and I don’t see me stopping anytime soon.
GlamLifeGuru aka Tati-I had one more that I wanted to tell you about because if you are into makeup, I think you will enjoy her videos. I like them, and I don’t wear any makeup so she must be doing something right.
I also have done a post like this twice before so if you want to see what I watched years ago, you can here if and here if to check them out. Also have written a couple of posts where I talk about some videos that I love so you can check those out here and here if you want to as well.
Those are the ones that I am currently loving. I think I am going to do this post more often because I am always finding great new channels, and I like to share them with friends.
I loved this quote when I saw it because it is so true. I also think that this true because if you give up on your dreams, then there is no way that you will go anywhere in life. I have had my dreams change, but I always have something that I am working towards so that I don’t just stay in the same spot in life.
