I liked this quote when I saw it because I think we all need to be reminded that when we have bad days we can always change that with our thoughts. I have printed this quote out so that I can look at it every day.
What do you think of this week’s quote by Gillian Anderson?

Scapegoat by Emilio Corsetti III was such an interesting book. He went into such detail in this book that the thought of my getting on a plane and going someone where isn’t something I want to do now. I loved all the details though because I really felt like I understood what everyone was feeling and why the crew made the choices that they made in the moment. Like I said now that I have read this book I don’t know that I will be able to get on a plane without having a panic attack. I love that the author gives you all the information and then lets you figure out what you think about everything that happened. I love that he doesn’t talk about what he thinks happened. I really loved this book but it did take quite a while to read because it is a really big book and the font isn’t the biggest. If you love books about true stories than I would say check this book out because it was a great book.
About The Book
“This is the kind of case the Board has never had to deal with-a head-on collision between the credibility of a flight crew versus the airworthiness of the aircraft.” NTSB Investigator-in-Charge Leslie Dean Kampschror
On April 4, 1979, a Boeing 727 with 82 passengers and a crew of 7 rolled over and plummeted from an altitude of 39,000 feet to within seconds of crashing were it not for the crew’s actions to save the plane. The cause of the unexplained dive was the subject of one of the longest NTSB investigations at that time.
While the crew’s efforts to save TWA 841 were initially hailed as heroic, that all changed when safety inspectors found twenty-one minutes of the thirty-minute cockpit voice recorder tape blank. The captain of the flight, Harvey “Hoot” Gibson, subsequently came under suspicion for deliberately erasing the tape in an effort to hide incriminating evidence. The voice recorder was never evaluated for any deficiencies.
From that moment on, the investigation was focused on the crew to the exclusion of all other evidence. It was an investigation based on rumors, innuendos, and speculation. Eventually the NTSB, despite sworn testimony to the contrary, blamed the crew for the incident by having improperly manipulated the controls, leading to the dive.
This is the story of an NTSB investigation gone awry and one pilot’s decades-long battle to clear his name.

Mummy’s Little Angel by JW Lawson was a great book. I am huge of TV show’s that are like this book, so I knew when I read the back of the book that I had to review it. From the start of the book, I didn’t want to put it down. I loved how this book was written and how it went back and forth between the characters because it gives you an insight into what each of the characters is thinking. I also wasn’t able to figure out what was going to happen in the book which something that I usually am to do so I loved that about this book. I would think I had figured it out and then a chapter later I would change my mind, and I did that throughout the entire book. If you love thrillers than I know, you will love this book as much as I did.

One of them was Laura’s doll … the doll that Joanne later discovered in her home. Joanne is facing the most horrific dilemma of her life. Has the wrong woman been imprisoned? Could her child have used such brutality against her best friend? Or could both women be innocent after all?
She needs to find somebody for her daughter to confide in; somebody she will trust. She needs a miracle. There is only one person who can help. He is compassionate and caring, with an amazing ability to gain the trust of the most difficult patients. He is Joanne’s only hope. He is Jonathan Davies.

Another week is done, and I am one hundred percent okay with that. Since this post is already going to be up late because I ran out of time to get it done yesterday lets just get right into the links.
This week for the writer’s workshop I am going to write about number two which is: ten reasons I am glad to be done with school. I did write a post a few weeks ago about wanting to take classes, but I have zero desire to go back to school. Let’s get right into the ten reasons I don’t want to go back to school.
The first reason I don’t want to go back to school is that I have no desire to be in the same classrooms as teenagers again.
I don’t want to have to take tests anymore. I have always had test anxiety, so I don’t want ever to have to take tests again.
I have no desire to have to do homework.
I never had to study in high school, so when I got to college, I had no idea how you study. I still have no idea on how you are supposed to study so I am glad that I don’t have to try and figure it out now.
Assigned reading-Buying books that you can’t afford and they won’t buy them back at the end of the year.
Dealing with Teachers-I have never liked to deal with other people and having to deal with teachers always sucked. It is also hard in college because most professors write their books so if you don’t learn well from that teacher you are in a lot of trouble because you have to use their book. I had a biology professor at the University of Utah that if I had gone into his class not knowing anything, I would have failed because he taught so weird.
Having to take certain classes even if they don’t interest you. I never got a degree because I didn’t want to take the P.E. classes or the art classes you have to take to graduate.
Group projects-I was always was the person in the group that did most of the work because I wanted it done right. I also am not the kind of person who likes to leave things to the end.
Working and going to school-Most days it is all I can do to go to work and back home so I have no idea how I would be able to work full-time and go to school even if I only went back part time.
The amount of money it costs to go to school
Those are ten reasons that I am glad to be out of school. I am sure if I sat down long enough I could come up with another ten reasons I am happy to be out of school.
What is one reason that you are glad that you are out of school?

House of Eire by June Gillam was a great book. This is the third book in the series and the first book that I have read. That being said I understood what was going on in this book, so you don’t have to read the other books if this is the only one that interests you. I love that parts this book take place in Ireland because it is the one place that I want to visit one day. This book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book, and I didn’t stop reading until I had finished the book.
I enjoyed the authors writing, and I can’t wait to read the other two books in the series. Hillary was my favorite character in this book, and I am hoping that the author will write more books with her in them. I liked the characters in this book like I like the characters in the King and Maxwell books written by David Baldacci. The books aren’t alike at all, but I liked Hillary like I like those characters.
I am sure that most people who like mystery books will like this book. It is an easy read and a book that I would recommend to anyone. I also think that this is a book that high school kids would like to read as well. If you have read this book what, did you think about it?
