Top 10 Most Listened To Songs-April 2016

Top 10 Most Listened To Songs

This week I chose to write about number six which is: Top 10 most listened to songs.  I chose this one because like most of the know I almost always have music playing the background because I love to have background noise when I am doing anything.   As I was going through my archives, I saw that I did a post like this at this time last year so if you want to check out what I was listening to the previous year, you can click here to read it.  Now let’s get on to the songs I love right now.

1-This first song that I have listened to on repeat lately is “Team” by Iggy Azalea.  I am not sure what it is about this song, but right when I heard it I had to buy it, and I listen to all the time as I am driving to and from work.

2-The next song that I have loved lately is “Move Bitch” by Ludacris.  I always listen to this song when I am pissed off by the stupid drivers as I am driving to and from work.

3- Another song I have loved lately is “Good Morning” by Chamillionaire.  This song has always made me smile, and it is how I feel about people who dislike me.  It can always put me in a good mood.

4-“Viva la Vida” by Coldplay I have always liked this song but I forgot about it until the Super Bowl this past year.

5-“Roads” by Chris Mann-I got a copy of this CD back in 2012 to review, and this has always been my one favorite song of his.  I am not huge into Christian music, but I do love this song, and I am sure it will always be one that I will listen to.

6-“The Sound Of Silence” by Celtic Thunder-If you have been around for the past few years you know that I am a huge fan of Celtic Thunder, and this song is one that I have loved lately from them.

7-Live You Life (feat. Rihanna) by T.I.– There isn’t much I can say about this song because like most of the others on this list it is an older song that I have listened to for years.

8-Fly Away by Nelly– I love most of the songs that Nelly has released but if I had to pick one that is my favorite of his it would be this one.  I love everything about this song, and I am sure that won’t change anytime soon.

9-Straight Tequila Night by John Anderson– I remember this song from my childhood and so I knew I had to include it on this list.  I totally forgot about this song until last year when I started listening to 90’s country on Pandora, and I was reminded of all the songs I loved when I was a kid.

10-Wild Ones (feat. Sia) by Flo Rida– I always find myself singing this song as I am driving home from work.  Then again I am always singing songs by Flo Rida because they are so catching and they tend to get stuck in my head.

Those are the ten songs that I am currently loving.  I also wanted to include one other song because after I was done writing this post the song started playing and I knew I wanted to post it.  The song I am talking about is “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber.  I  wasn’t a huge fan of this song when I first heard it but last month I fell in love with it, and I have been known to put it on repeat for the entire drive home from work.

I am always on the lookout for new music so what songs are you currently loving and what would you recommend to me?

If you want to join in and write about one of the prompts I have listed them all below so, you can pick one.  If you have written about one, please let me know in the comments so I can go and check it out.

1. Throwback Thursday: Choose a photo from a previous April and write a poem or a blog post.
2. If you were reborn as a dog, what breed would you be and why?
3. What’s for dinner?
4. Write a blog post inspired by the word: baby.
5. Tell us about a local news story that’s all the buzz right now in your neck of the woods.
6. List your top 10 most listened to songs currently.

10 Things I Don’t Understand

10 Things I Don't Know

This is just a random post that has been floating around in my drafts folder for awhile that I am going to finally take the time to finish and post.  The topic for this post is 10 things I don’t know and/or understand about the world we are living in today.

1-Why time goes so much faster now that I am an adult.  I can remember when I was growing up how slow time seemed to go and now that I am an adult I can’t believe how fast time goes and I am having a heck of time knowing that it is already July.

2-Where in the world all the stupid people came from.  Maybe this is just because I seem to deal with tons of them daily but it seems like they are reproducing faster than ever before.

3-Why people have to be so rude to the receptionist when they are pissed off at someone else.  I get bitched at on a regular basis because one the salesman won’t answer his phone and things like that.  I hate to break it to the world but I don’t control them or what they do because if I did this would be a whole lot different.

4-Why people still insist on messing with their phones while they are driving on the freeway or driving at all.  I used to be one of the people who messed with their phones but I realized just how dangerous it can be and stopped using my phone while I am driving.  In fact my family knows that if I have left work for the night that it won’t do them any good to call me because my phone is in my purse where it will stay until I get home.

5-I don’t get why people think everyone needs to be just like someone else.  We are all different for a reason.  The world would be boring if we were all the same.

6-Where all the common sense went in the world.  I see people do things or listen to people talk and I have to wonder where their common sense went.

7-I don’t understand why there needs to be so many commercials for things like Viagra & Cialis when I am trying to watch TV.  Nobody want to see them but I do have to say I loving listening when they read off the side effects lol

8-I don’t get people refuse to use their blinkers when they want to change lanes and/or move over.  I mean every car has them and they make driving so much easier and traffic flow better.  I also don’t understand why some people refuse to let you over even when you have your blinker on.

9-I don’t understand why some people feel the need to yell into their cell phone like the other person is deaf.  Most people can hear you just fine so you really don’t need to yell all the time.

10-I won’t ever understand why people feel the need to be mean to other people when they are on the internet because we all know if they were face to face with the person they are talking about they wouldn’t have the guts to say anything to them.

Those are the top 10 things that I don’t know or understand about the world we live in today.  Do you agree with me or do you have your own thoughts.  Please let me know what you think in the comments below.

10 Things I Love About. . .

Favorite TV Show

This week I saw another prompt for the Writers Workshop I knew I had to write about it.  This week I chose to write about number 5 which is: List 10 things you love about your favorite TV show.  Now I just need to chose one of the shows that I watch and write about it.  Who knew it would be so hard for me to pick on show to write about.  I think for this one I am going to write about Lockup which is on MSNBC.  If you have never heard of the show it is filmed inside of prisons in the US.  They take time hearing some of the stories of the people who are locked up.  Now lets get on to the 10 things I love about Lockup.

  1. I love hearing the stories of the people who are incarcerated.   I love hearing what their lives were like before they got locked up and what the believe lead them to where they are at.
  2. I love being able to get a glimpse of what life is like for people who are in there.
  3. I love learning what people in this country do and/or don’t do.
  4. Some of the stories make me laugh out loud because the people are so ridiculous and what they got locked up for is just as crazy.
  5. Sometimes they show what their lives are like when they get out of prison.
  6. I love people watching and this show is great for people watching.
  7. I love watching their Lockup-Raw episodes because it is always about things that didn’t make it on the original episodes.
  8. It is always fun to get to look at the “Bad Boys” that I always seem to be attracted to.
  9. It is interesting to say the least.
  10. I can laugh at stupid people without hurting anyones feelings because lets be honest a lot of things that people do to get locked up are just them being stupid.

Those are 10 of the things that I love about the show Lockup on MSNBC.  What is one thing you are love about your favorite show?

10 Things I Miss About Being A Kid

10 Things I Miss About Being A Kid

This week for the writers workshop I am going to write about number 5 which is 10 things I miss about being a kid.  This is pretty easy for me since I always find myself telling kids to enjoy being young because being an adult sucks!  So here are the 10 things I miss about being a kid.

  1. I miss not having to do anything but go to school during the week.
  2. I miss the fact that now I have to worry about money and paying bills.
  3. I miss that I really didn’t have a care in the world and I could pretty much do whatever.
  4. I miss how things were back then.  I hate how in todays society you have so many more worries and concerns than there used to be.  I guess the best way to describe what I am trying to say is by saying how bully’s are today and how you can’t even escape them when you are at home like you could when I was a kid.
  5. I miss the fact that I wasn’t sick like I am now and that I could do more things than I am able to now.
  6. I miss the fact that I could sleep.  It is crazy to me how as a kid I hated going to bed but now that I basically can’t go to bed and sleep without taking something I miss being able to lay down and just sleep without taking anything.
  7. I miss not having any major responsibilities such as going to work or paying doctors bills.
  8. I hate that I know have to keep track of doctors appointments and any other appointments that come up.
  9. I hate that I can’t just ask my parents for money anymore when I run out of money during the month.
  10. I miss how I used to feel safe when I was younger and I never had a care in the world.  Now you hear all the time about kidnappings and things like that which makes me not want to raise kids in todays society.

Those are the first 10 things that came to my mind but I am sure after I post this I will think of a tons more things that I miss.  That being said what do you miss about being a kid?
