I loved this quote and I have to say that I picked it because I love Julie Andrews and all of the movies that she has ever been in. After I picked it because of that and actually read the quote I knew I had to use it because it is so true. If you fail doing something you need to keep trying until you get it right because each time you do something you will get better and better until you master the skill you are trying to learn. It is time for another wrap-up post. This weeks was crazy because I did get called in for jury duty on Wednesday. I didn’t actually get the book review that was supposed to be live on Wednesday but it didn’t get up until yesterday and the post that was supposed to go live yesterday didn’t get up until yesterday afternoon because I also didn’t get it written up on time as well.

A Bride At Last by Melissa Jagears was a great story to read. Now that I am done with this book I have to say that I love Anthony the most out of all the characters which makes me smile because he is just a child in this book and most of the time I love the female characters. I think I liked him the most because I had a rough childhood and he reminded me a lot of myself when I was younger. I also really like Silas as well and to be honest I am not 100% sure why I liked him so much but I did. The book was stressful at times because of the whole custody case and me wondering who will get Anthony and how will this all work out in the end. I loved the dynamic between all of the characters and it was a book I didn’t want to put down because I had to know it ended and how things worked out for all of the characters. If you love historical novels that have a love story throw in than I know you will love this book just as much as I did.

The Bookshop Hotel by A. K. Klemm was a very uplifting story to read. I loved how AJ used the talents of people in the town to help build her bookstore and also re-invent the town. I love how she would put ideas in peoples heads and once they thought about them for awhile they would do what she suggested. This was another short story which I loved because they are something that I can get through in a day and with everything going on right now that is perfect. I can’t say enough great things about this story and this author. If you love sweet short stories I would tell you to check out this book because it was amazing!

Picture Perfect Love by Melissa McClone was a sweet story. This is a novella so I was able to read it in a few hours which I am sure by now you all know that this is my favorite kind of book. That being said I did love these characters enough that I wished it had been longer but I still liked it this way. I loved watching how Jenna worked through her emotions having to deal with Ashton. I loved how she leaned on her new church as she got through everything she had to do as well. This is the first book I have read by this author and I have added her on my list of authors to check out more books by them.

Shadows of Ladenbrooke Manor by Melanie Dobson was an amazing story. I was confused through the first part of the book but once I caught on to what was going on and who was who it was better. I was confused about who was who and how they were related to each other. Even though I was confused through part of the book I still didn’t want to put it down and because I loved the characters and the whole premise of this book was amazing. I loved Libby from the first time she appears right up until the end of the story. I think I loved her because she was so innocent and I loved that quality about her. I loved seeing the all the different generations and how they dealt with a lot of the same things that the older generations went through. I loved Maggie and how she tried to keep her daughters from going through the same things she went through and even though she tried her children dealt with the same things that she did. If you are looking for a book that makes you think than I know you will love this book as much as I do.
