Weekly Wrap-Up

Weekly Wrap-Up

Welcome to another weekly wrap-up post.  I only had two other post this week.  I just got busy at work and didn’t have the time to write the other posts that I had planned for this week so I am hoping to get to them in next couple of weeks.  One post that I had planned was an adoption thoughts post about how I feel guilty because of my genetics and a condition that I passed on to my daughter.  I also was going to do a post totally made up of pictures of my day because I thought that would be super fun but I didn’t get around to take pictures so that post will also be coming up in the next few weeks.

  • This weeks quote is by Ellen Glasgow and it is about growth and moving forward in life.  I really loved it so if you missed it you can click here to read it and let me know what you think of it.
  • The other post this week was an MS Tuesday post where I updated on what has been going on with me lately in regards to the MS and my eye site.  If you want to check that out you can click here and check out that update.

This week I saw this picture on Facebook and I loved it:

This is how I feel most days at work because the people I work with don’t understand MS and how it can affect me from day to day.  Next week I have 3 book reviews coming up and a few other posts.  I hope you all had a great week and I will see you back here next week.

Quote Of The Week – Ellen Glasgow

Quote Of The Week

This weeks quote is by Ellen Glasgow.

Ellen Glasgow

I loved this quote when I read it because it is so true for me.  People change all the time but that doesn’t mean that the changes are growth or that they are even good changes for that person.  I also agree with not all movement is forward because lately I feel like I am moving but I don’t feel like I am going forward.  I feel as though I am stuck right now but I am hoping to change that this year and get  back on track to where I want to go in life.  Those are just a few of my thoughts for this week.

Now I want to know what you think of this weeks quote by Ellen Glasgow? Do you agree or disagree?

Marcus Tullius Cicero

Quote Of The Week

This weeks quotes is by Marcus Tullius Cicero.

Marcus Tullius Cicero

When I read this one I thought of celebrities and how they need to be good role models because kids and even adults look up to them because of how they are in the public eye all the time.  I also have seen people in my real life who change once they get money or a great job and that makes me sad.  I hope that I never become one of them because that is not who I want to be like.  I just want to continue to be the person I am now and not let anything go to my head.  I am always going to try and stay humble because you never know when it will be all taken away from you.

Helen Keller-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The Week

This weeks quote is by Helen Keller.

Helen Keller

When I saw this quote I knew I had to use it because it is so true.  To me it means that you have to go through things in your life in order to understand things and also to become the person you are meant to be.  I was watching a Youtube video yesterday and the girl was asked if she could go into the future would she and her answer was no because than she would make different choices and then she may not end up being the person she was supposed to be.  There are times I wish I knew why I had to deal with things in my life and go through the things that I am but I have learned to not focus on the understanding instead I focus on getting through each day.  I do hope that one day I will be understand why I had to go through so much though.

Hannah Arendt-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The Week

This weeks quote is by Hannah Arendt.

Hannah Arendt

I loved this quote because it is true.  I know that up until I forgave my parents I always felt held back and weighed down.  I still feel weighed down at time because there are things that have happened recently that I know I need to forgive and move on from but I am not in the place where I feel like I can do that right now.  It is something that I am always working on but I am not there just yet.  What do you think of this weeks quote by Hannah Arendt?

When I read this quote I thought of how things are going in our country right now and how true this quote is.  I have noticed that people feel that the world owes them things when the truth is no one owes you anything.  Any way those are a few of my thoughts on this quote.  What do you think of this weeks quote by Dwight D Eisenhower?

Florence Nightingale-Quote Of The Week

Quote Of The Week

This weeks quote is by Florence Nightingale.

Florence Nightingale

I really liked this quote when I saw it because it is so true.  I find myself making excuses from time to time and it is something that I am going to try and stop doing this year.  I know alot of people make excuses instead of just going out and doing what they know they need to do. If we all just stop making and accepting excuses than I think we would all succeed more often.

I loved this quote because it is so true.  I always try to set goals even though some years I don’t ever finish those goals.  There are some years where I do finish them and I always fill so good when I finish them.  What do you think of this weeks quote by Melody Beattie?
