His To Love by Stacey Lynn wasn’t my favorite book that I have read lately. I had a hard time getting into the story, and I am not sure why. I had a hard time trying to connect with the characters, and while I was reading it, I found myself looking ahead at what books I have coming up. I did enjoy the author’s style of writing, and I am interested in checking out other books by her because I think this book just wasn’t the right fit for me. I am sure that if you love romance novels, then this book will be something you will love it just wasn’t the right fit for me.

Naked by Gina Gordon was an excellent book. I did find it kind of predictable, but that is because these type’s of books are the ones I read when I can’t decide what to read next. These are one of my guilty pleasure kind of book because if asked I would probably say I don’t like to read them but in the end, I love them because they are always an easy read. This is the first book I have read by this author, and she is going to added to the list of authors that I love and want to read more books by her. I loved all the characters in this book and the setting of the book. I loved what Noah did to make Violet finally come over and talk to him. If you love chick lit books than I know you will love this book.

Dating The Guy Next Door by Amanda Ashby was an excellent book to read. I didn’t know how I was going to feel about the book when I started it but after I was a chapter in the book I started enjoying the plot and the characters in this book. It was a little bit of a slow start for me but if you give it a chance I know you will enjoy it in the end. I did find parts of it predictable but not so much so that I didn’t want to finish the book. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I am glad that I found her because I know I will be reading more of her books. This book is an easy read and one that anyone who likes chick lit would enjoy so if you are looking for your next chick lit book check this one out.

Find Her by Lisa Gardner was one of the better books that I have read in past few months. I read a ton of books as most of you know but this book took me back to the types of books that I loved to read before I started to review books here. I love books like this because they keep me on the edge of my seat, and I don’t want to stop reading them until I know how it all ends. I know that these books can be overwhelming to some people but for the most part, I love them. Right from the start I loved how the author was able to make me understand what it would feel like to be somewhat buried alive or, at least, be in a box that all you can do is lay down. I also loved that Flora is a survivor and you get to see how she survived and how is able to help others in the small ways that she does. I can’t say enough good things about this book and this author. If you love reading thriller/suspense books then I know you don’t want to miss this one. I can’t wait to check out other books by this author and see how they are compared to this one.

A Muddied Murder by Wendy Tyson

A Muddied Murder by Wendy Tyson was a cute book. I have read several other books by her and I really enjoy her style of writing. I really enjoyed the characters in this book and the setting of this one. I did find parts of this book predictable but that is pretty common for me considering that I read so many books and these types of books tend to be my favorite types of reading. I really liked Megan from the start. I love books have strong female characters because I always feel like I am able to relate to them more than other types. I loved trying to figure out who killed Simon and why they did it. I also loved following along as Megan tried to clear her name and get her businesses up and running. If you love mystery books that aren’t super gross than I know you will love this one and you need to add it to your list of books to read.

The Promise of Forgiveness by Marin Thomas wasn’t my favorite book but I did enjoy it. I wasn’t a huge fan of any of the characters when I started the book but after I was a few chapters in I started to like Ruby and her daughter Mia. I liked Mia because even though she acted like she did I could see a lot of myself in her because I too had a rough childhood so I understand on some level why she acted like she did. I enjoyed watching as Ruby & Mia both learned to loved and how to live. If you are looking for a light-hearted book I wouldn’t recommend this book to you because there are tough things talked about and at times it was hard for me to read. If you love reading books that teach you something and that at times make you take a look at your own life than I know you will love this book just as much as I did.
