The Space In Between by Brittainy C. Cherry

The Space In Between by Brittainy C. Cherry was a good book.  This book was a super quick read for me and I loved that.   I loved the characters and the authors writing.  She does a great job of making you feel as if you are right there with the characters.  I felt so bad for Andrea at the start of the book but after awhile she did get on my nerves because of how she acted from time to time.  I have never had to deal with anything like she did so I am not sure how I would act but it did get old at least to me.  You also get to follow along with Cooper who just bugged me and I am not sure why.  All in all the book was a good book and I can’t wait to check out more books by this author.

The Space In Between

About The Book

New Adult Contemporary Date Published: 9/17/2013

She’s scarred by her past.

ANDREA EVANS is traumatized and guilt-ridden by the death of her fiancée. Tired of the gossiping small town, she travels to New York City to pursue her dream of dance. When her dreams don’t instantly come to fruition, she ends up working at a strip club with her best friend.

He’s uncertain of his future.

COOPER DAVIDSON is a famous photographer and reality television star trying to flee from his own life filled with paparazzi, mental health clinics, and a cheating wife who is pregnant.

When Andrea and Cooper’s paths cross, they realize how damaged and in need of escapism they both are. The two create an arrangement to explore the space in between chaos and order with one another. The rules are simple—no emotional connections, no talking about the past, no speaking of the future, and when one finds order, the other walks away.

All is well until Cooper falls in love with Andrea. Will Andrea open up and let someone else into her closed off heart? Can Cooper stop the tabloids and his crazed wife from exposing his past and painting Andrea as a prostitute to the world before her life spirals back down to the land of chaos?

Love Waltzes In by Alana Albertson

Love Waltzes In by Alana Albertson was a fun book to read.  I have to say that this was a great book to read.  Right now I am really into romance books and I have to say that this book delivered on that.  So many of the romance books I have read lately are all the same and this one was different.  In this book you follow along with Bret as he comes back from a tour of service and decides to join a dancing show that his first love is on.  He was a nationally know dance when he was a teenager and Selena was his partner.  They meet up again after 10 years apart and things go from there.  I am not going to go into more of the plot because I don’t want to give anything away.  If you love romance novels then I would for sure check this one out!

A Crazy Homecoming by Cate Baylor

A Crazy Homecoming by Cate Baylor was a great book to read.  From the first page right up to last page I loved everything about this book.  You follow along with Daphne as she runs to Texas after she loses her job and gets dumped by her boyfriend.  From the moment she gets to her nana’s ranch she always seems to be getting into something and always running into Mick.  Mick is the foreman at her nana’s ranch.  I can’t say enough good things about this book and this author.  If you love romance novels than this is one I would definately recommend to you.

 A Crazy Homecoming

About The Book

Contemporary Romance Date Published: 8/1/2013

Getting fired over a workplace meltdown was bad enough, but getting dumped at the exact same time by her boyfriend-slash-boss was the ultimate humiliation. With no real friends in L.A. and perennially absent parents, Daphne Simms has no one to turn to. To heal her heart, she runs to the only true home she’s ever known—her grandmother’s rural Texas ranch, called Crazy. She knows ranch folks will be a far cry from those she’s known in L.A., but she certainly doesn’t expect to be greeted by a cranky cowboy shoving a shotgun in her face.

Mick Williams has lived and worked on Crazy for twenty years. Though he’s utterly devoted to Daphne’s grandmother, he’ll be damned if he’s gonna let a city slicker like Daphne sashay in and disrupt his nice, quiet life. When the future of Crazy is threatened, Mick and Daphne must join forces to keep the ranch afloat, but the heat of their attraction makes working together more complicated than either of them imagines.

When their physical and emotional connection deepens, Mick tries to turn away from the woman he’s convinced he doesn’t deserve, so Daphne has to pull out all the stops to convince him that the heart of Crazy is big enough for the both of them.

Eventide by Shelley Shepard Gary was a great book.   This is the 3rd and final book in the series and I have to say that I am sad to see the series come to an end.  I did review the second book and if you want to check out that review click here.  I loved the characters and the overall storyline of this series.  I am finding that I really love Shelley’s writing and I can’t wait to check out more books by her.  Anyways lets get back to this book.  This book focus on Elise and her struggles with getting her family to let her live her life and also with trying to find someone to love her even though she is losing her eyesight.  I loved the ending and I was so happy for her and how things worked out.  I loved everything about this book and I can’t wait to check out other books by her in the future.

Stepping Up To Love by Katie O’Boyle

Stepping Up To Love by Katie O’Boyle was a fun book to read.   I really loved the plot of the book but there were places where I was confused but I stuck through it because I really loved the plot like I said before. In this book you follow along with Manda as she graduates from college and as she gets away from a stalker.  From the minute I started this book I didn’t want to put it down because I loved the plot.  I am not sure what about the writing that made it hard for me to read but it was at times super hard for me to read.  All in all I loved the book and I am glad that I got the chance to review the book.

On Distant Shores by Sarah Sundin

On-Distant-Shores-e1369253563736

On Distant Shores by Sarah Sundin was a wonderful book.  I read the first book in the series and reviewed it here.  I would recommend checking out the first book and then reading this one second.  There are some books that you don’t have to read it order even though I tend to like to read them in order but I feel this series should be read in order because the first book does lay the foundation for things that happen in this book.  Anyway lets get on to the review for this book.  In this book you are following along with Georgie as she learns to overcome her fears along with learning to make decisions for herself and not letting her family and friends run her life for her.  I really loved this book and I can’t wait to read what happens next.  I loved watching both Georgie and Hutch grow.  There were also parts that broke my heart for both of them but in the end it ended just how I thought I should end.  If you love romance books and also books where the main characters grow then this is the book for you!

About On Distant Shores

Caught between the war raging around them and the battles within, two souls long for peace—and a love that remains true.

Lt. Georgiana Taylor has everything she could want. A boyfriend back home, a loving family, and a challenging job as a flight nurse. But in July 1943, Georgie’s cozy life gets more complicated when she meets pharmacist Sgt. John Hutchinson.

Hutch resents the lack of respect he gets as a noncommissioned serviceman and hates how the war keeps him from his fiancée. While Georgie and Hutch share a love of the starry night skies over Sicily, their lives back home are falling apart. Can they weather the hurt and betrayal? Or will the pressures of war destroy the fragile connection they’ve made?

With her signature attention to detail and her talent for bringing characters together, Sarah Sundin weaves an exciting tale of emotion, action, and romance that will leave you wanting more.
