The Name Unknown by Roseanna M. White was an okay book for the most part. I did get bored from time to time because of all the details that are in this book. I am sure this wouldn’t have bothered me if I was more interested in the book but I had a tough time staying interested in this book. I know that is probably because it is a historical fiction book and it takes place before WWI, and I have a harder time staying interested in those types of books. This book is really well written, and I did like the characters. I think the reason I was bored with the book was that of the time period and it being so far out of the time periods that I enjoy reading. If you like historical fiction from this time period than I am sure that you would enjoy this book.

The Mentor by Lee Matthew Goldberg was one of the best books I have read in a while. I am not sure what made me like this book as much as I did but it was one that I didn’t want to put down even when I was at work during the day. One of the people I work with commented that it has been quite a while since I had been into a book like I was with this one. I loved just about everything in this book. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I can’t wait to read more by him in the future because his book hooked me right from the start and I kept reading until the book was done. This book kept me on the edge of my seat during the entire book. I didn’t want to put the book down to while I was at work and I was able to read this book in just a few days because all I wanted to do was read the book. If you love thriller type books, I know you will enjoy this book as much as I did.

Here and Gone by Haylen Beck

Here and Gone by Haylen Beck was a book that I liked during the first part of the book but by the end of the book I found myself completely bored and read the book to be over. I had high hopes for this book because of it usually the type of book that I love but after I was about half way through I just got bored and tired of reading this book. I felt bad for Audra throughout most of this book. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the plot of this book because it wasn’t something that I could see happening but that being said I am sure it has happened somewhere in the United States at one point or another. I think that is why I got bored with the book because I had a hard time believing that some of the things that happened in this book could have actually happened. If you don’t have a problem reading books that the plot probably wouldn’t occur in the real world than I am sure you will love this book.

The Devils Cold Dish by Eleanor Kuhns

The Devils Cold Dish by Eleanor Kuhns was a great historical fiction book. I loved this book, and for the first time in a while, I didn’t get bored while reading a historical fiction book. This the 5 book in the series but you have to read them in order because this is the first book I read, and I had no problem following along with what is going on in it. This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I can’t wait until I have the time to check out her other books. She wrote in such a way that I forgot from time to time that I was reading a historical fiction book. I loved that she was able to do that because it made the book fly by and I was able to read in just a few days. If you aren’t the biggest fan of historical fiction books than I would tell you to give this book a shot because I think it is one that most people would enjoy even if this isn’t their favorite genre to read.

Never Forget by Richard Davis

Never Forget by Richard Davis was a good book. This is the second book in the series, but in my opinion, you don’t need to read the books to know what is happening. I did understand the backstory of the main character which I always like but you don’t need the information while reading this book. I was as drawn into this story as I was when I read False Prophet but I still did enjoy this book. I also loved that I got to see Saul again because I love following along with characters because that makes them feel even more like real people. Parts of this book remind me of the Jack Reacher books which I love, but I also am tired of the series because he should be dead by now.

Anyway, let’s get back to my thoughts on this book. I really do enjoy this author writing, and I love that he includes some British slang in his books. When that happened, it always made me smile because I am so used to hearing the words on YouTube and they always make me happy. If you love mystery books, I would for sure recommend this book to you.
