Day 6- Zodiac Sign and Does It Fit? #30DayChallenge

Day6Today’s topic is what is my Zodiac sign and does it fit.  I am a Sagittarius and here is what I found that describes the sign:

Comparison with its symbol, the Archer: Sagittarius is symbolized by the Archer–half-man, half-horse. This symbolizes the Sagittarian’s attempt to free itself from man’s animal nature. The centaur is thought to symbolize the development of the human soul. It symbolizes the animal natures and desires of man, as well as its spiritual aspirations. In Greek mythology, centaurs were adventurous, brave, and wise; they were also given to brawling and uncivilized behavior.

The glyph for Sagittarius is a straightforward one — it depicts the archer’s arrow slung in a bow. This glyph symbolizes the desire for direction, a higher purpose, and abundance.

You can click here and go to where I got that information and also get ton’s more information on people who are Sagittariuses.

From what I have read about them I think that there are things about it that fit me and other things that don’t really fit me.  When I was reading through different articles I could see things that are 100% who I am and then there are other things that couldn’t be farther from who I am.  It seems people who are Sagitarriuses are supposed to be out going and things like that and that isn’t me by any stretch of the imagination.  I am a shy person but other than that one fact everything about them pretty much is me!

Does your sign match you?

Day 5- Favorite Comfort Foods & Why #30DayChallenge

Day 4- Views on Religion #30DayChallenge

Views on Religion

Today’s topic is my views on religion.  Now this is something I have never written about because I didn’t want to start drama but I am in a place now in my life where I am okay with everything.  Now that doesn’t mean I want drama but I am okay if it happens because of this post.

I was raised LDS or as most people know us as is Mormon.   I stopped going when I found out I was pregnant because I refused to deal with how people treated me.  I know church isn’t about the people  but it is hard to go when everyone just stares at you.    I have always hated how some members of my church feel the need to judge everyone but that is another post for another day.

I also don’t think that you have to be a certain religion.  As long as you are a good person and treat others well then everything is okay.  I refuse to believe that God will condemn anyone because they aren’t the right religion.  I basically just accept everyone for who they are and I leave it at that.  I won’t judge others like I have been judged.

Day 3- Top 5 Pet Peeves

Day 3Today’s topic is my top 5 pet peeves.  I have quite a few things that bug me but I am going to try and only post 5 of them.

  1. I hate it when people call into work and are rude to me when they are really just pissed off at the salesman they need to talk to but they would rather yell at me instead of yell at the real person they are mad at.
  2. People who always judge other people.  I don’t judge and hate it when other people spend all their damn time make other people fell bad.
  3. Idiot drivers!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Having to hear people chew when they are eating around me.
  5. People who think they know me when the really don’t know anything about me or who I am.

Day 2- 10 Years #30DayChallenge

Where would I like to be in 10 years

Where would I like to be in 10 years

In ten years I will be 38 and I have no idea where I want to be when I am 38.  I have sat her for hours trying to figure out where I want to be and to be honest I am more focused on what I want to do tomorrow and this next week than what I want to be doing years down the road.  Here are a few things that I hope will be happening in my life in ten years.

  • I hope that the Multiple Sclerosis is still stable and that I am doing okay with that.
  • Happy with whatever I find myself doing.
  • Living on my own again.

Other than those 3 things I really don’t have anything else planned.

If you want to see the list of all the prompts you can click here and go to first post.  Today’s topic is what is my current relationship.  Since it is pretty vague I am going to to write about my marriage.  I am not sure how many people know that I am still married or that I have been married at all.  My husband told me on Christmas day in 2009 ( I believe it was 2009) that he wanted a divorce and he told me through a text message.  The reason we are still married is because I refuse to pay for the divorce because he ran up a credit card that was in our names to almost $11,000 and he expects me to pay it.  I also feel that because he left me on Christmas day that he should pay for the divorce.
