I agree with this quote. To me, it means sacrificing things in order to have the things you love in your life. I know when I met my husband, I gave up a lot of time that I used to spend with my nephews and my sisters. It was hard, but I realized that I was building a life with my partner and also building a life for myself. I had never done anything for myself, I had always been too frightened. But giving up certain things made them mean more in the end and the time I get now with my sisters and nephews is only that much more special.
It is true when you don’t get to see some people often the time you do get together is extra special.
