Dead in a Week by Andrea Kane was a book that left me wondering if things like this really happen today.  I say that because as I was reading it, I could imagine things like this happening and that scares me.  I have no doubt that we live in a world were people would and could do things like this.  I have to say that I couldn’t figure out what was going to happen, and I loved that.  I was on the edge of my seat throughout most of the book because I was never sure what was going to happen next.  I have read several book similar books but this one sticks out to me because it seemed like it could really happen and if I found out tomorrow that they did happen it would shock me.  I fell in love with Abby right from the start she seemed like such a sweet little girl and because of her I fell in love with her dad because of her.  I must respect a man that has a little girl and does that job that Aidan does.  This is the first book that I have read by this author and I can’t wait read more by her because I fell in love with this author after I was done reading this book.  If you are looking for something new to read, I pick up a copy of this book and check it out.

Drink finished, Lauren leaves—only to be snatched from the streets and thrown into an unmarked van.

Officially, Aidan Deveraux is a communications expert for one of the largest financial firms in the world. In his secret life, the former Marine heads the Zermatt Group, a covert team of military and spy agency operatives that search the data stream for troubling events in an increasingly troubled world.
