Day 6- Zodiac Sign and Does It Fit? #30DayChallenge
Today’s topic is what is my Zodiac sign and does it fit. I am a Sagittarius and here is what I found that describes the sign:
Comparison with its symbol, the Archer: Sagittarius is symbolized by the Archer–half-man, half-horse. This symbolizes the Sagittarian’s attempt to free itself from man’s animal nature. The centaur is thought to symbolize the development of the human soul. It symbolizes the animal natures and desires of man, as well as its spiritual aspirations. In Greek mythology, centaurs were adventurous, brave, and wise; they were also given to brawling and uncivilized behavior.
The glyph for Sagittarius is a straightforward one — it depicts the archer’s arrow slung in a bow. This glyph symbolizes the desire for direction, a higher purpose, and abundance.
You can click here and go to where I got that information and also get ton’s more information on people who are Sagittariuses.

From what I have read about them I think that there are things about it that fit me and other things that don’t really fit me. When I was reading through different articles I could see things that are 100% who I am and then there are other things that couldn’t be farther from who I am. It seems people who are Sagitarriuses are supposed to be out going and things like that and that isn’t me by any stretch of the imagination. I am a shy person but other than that one fact everything about them pretty much is me!
Does your sign match you?
Day 5- Favorite Comfort Foods & Why #30DayChallenge
Today’s topic is my favorite comfort foods and why are they my favorite. I can’t say that I am a huge fan of comfort foods because and I sit here and think about what I eat when I want comfort food I can’t really think of anything. I will sometimes eat ice cream but other than that I don’t have any that I can think of.

The Lesson by Suzanne Woods Fisher
About The Book
Centered on one of Suzanne Woods Fisher’s most loved characters, this is the story fans have eagerly anticipated. The precocious M.K. is all grown up (well, almost) and ready to take on the world-with surprising results. Fisher’s trademark plot twists and turns are as unexpected and satisfying as ever in this third book in the Stoney Ridge Seasons series.
In her wildest dreams, spunky and impulsive nineteen-year-old Mary Kate Lapp never imagined herself behind a schoolteacher’s desk. A run-in (literally) with the schoolteacher compels her to act as a substitute teacher, just as her restless desire to see the world compels her to apply for a passport . . . just in case. The only thing of interest to M.K. in the sleepy Amish community of Stoney Ridge is the unexplained death of a sheep farmer that coincided with the arrival of a mysterious young man into the community. Frustrated that no one takes the crime seriously, she takes matters into her own hands. Unfortunately, as tends to be the case for M.K., she jumps headlong into trouble.
About The Author
Suzanne Woods Fisher is the bestselling author of the Lancaster County Secrets series and the Stoney Ridge Seasons series, as well as nonfiction books about the Amish, including Amish Peace. She is also the coauthor of a new Amish children’s series, The Adventures of Lily Lapp. Her interest in the Anabaptist cultures can be directly traced to her grandfather, who was raised in the Old Order German Baptist Brethren Church in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Suzanne is a Carol Award winner and a Christy Award finalist. She is the host of internet radio show Amish Wisdom and a columnist for Christian Post and Cooking & Such magazines. She lives in California. For more information, please visithttp://www.suzannewoodsfisher.com and connect with her on Twitter @suzannewfisher. My Review
This book was so cute! From the moment I started reading it I didn’t want to put it down. The author does a great job of explaining things and she keeps the story flowing along. I did find that I could predict some of the things that happened but all it all it was a good book and I am going to check out more of her books!
