A Twist Of Love by Callie Bardot was a great book.  This is the second book in the series, and you don’t have to read them in order if you don’t want to, but the entire series interests you. I would recommend listening to them in order.  I enjoyed the first book, but once I finished this book, this one became my favorite.  I loved Gia in the first book, and I fell in love with her in this book.  She seemed so relatable to me, and I felt so bad for all of the things she went through as a child.  I think that I liked the narrator of this story more than the first book, but that is just a personal preference.  This book has one adult scene in this. It didn’t bother me, but I know some people wouldn’t like being surprised with a scene like that in a book.  I enjoy these characters more than the characters from the first book, but I also loved that you get an update about the first characters in this book.  I love when I book series creates a whole world of characters because it makes the books come to life for me.  I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

All We Buried by Elena Taylor was a fantastic book.  This is the first book in the series, and I will be reading all of the other books in this series because of how much I loved this book.  This is the first book I have read by this author, and I know I will read more books by her in the future.  I decided to read and review this book based solely on the cover, and this is one of the few times that I loved the book more than the cover.  I liked Bet from the start of the book.  She is someone who I would be friends with in real life.  This book also has everything that I look for when I am picking a mystery book to read. The author did a great job of making me feel like I was there with the characters, and because of that, I understood the choices they made as the book went on.  This book wasn’t super suspenseful, but it had enough that kept me reading.  It was a slow start, but once it picked up, it didn’t slow down until I was finished with the book.  If you love mysteries as I do, I know you will enjoy this book as much as I did.

Airborne by DiAnn Mills

Airborne by DiAnn Mills was a great book, but it struck a little to close to things happening in the world right now.  Now I know that it isn’t exactly what is happening right now, but it is similar enough to make me wonder if this could occur.  I enjoy this author’s writing and this book.  I loved Heather right from the start, and I hated her husband throughout the entire book.  I figured that they would work it out in the end, but I still didn’t like him once the book ended.  I didn’t find that this book was super suspenseful, but that didn’t bother me when I read this book.  I have read several other books by this author, and as far as I can remember, I have enjoyed all of them.  I loved that this book’s plot was different from anything else that I have read.  It is hard to find books with unique stories because I have read so many books.  If you are looking for something different to read, then I would, for sure, pick up a copy of this book.

Return To Me Lynn AustinReturn To Me by Lynn Austin was different from any other book I have ever read.  This wasn’t a book that I could read fast it was one that I had to focus on and take my time.  This book takes place during 539 BC and it brings part of the Old Testament to life.  I really liked the fact that this book gives you a view of what it was like for the people that were living during that time.  I think because it takes place so long ago I had a really hard time getting into this story.  I think this book would be great for people who know the bible stories and want to get a different view about what it was like for the people who lived in that time.
