#Poppit

I am not sure if you guys have heard about Pogo before but let me tell you that I love the site.  I actually have used the site since I was in a freshman in college.  I found it one night when I didn’t want to study so I was looking for something to entertain me because who really wants to study and do homework when you can find a great game to play.

The first game I found on Pogo.com was Poppit and let me tell you to this day I will always play this game.  It is a fast paced game and is so much fun to play when you need to take a break from working or if you are just looking for something to entertain you.  I can’t even tell you the hours I have spent playing this game.  Once I start playing it I forget that anything else is going on in the world.  Since I am writing a post about it all I want to do is stop and play the game instead of work.

I am sure most of you know by now that I always seem to be on the computer working but I also take time to just relax and take time for me and with that time I am always playing games.  Online games are great because they are easy to use and I can also play they from my phone if I happen to be at an appointment or something like that.

I have included the game below so you can play it.  I knew I better put it at the bottom of the post because if I say it at the top of  the post I wouldn’t get to reading the post because I would be to busy playing the game.  You really need to check out Pogo.com and play Poppit!

Home For The Holiday’s

While I watch this video I realize how lucky I am to live at home so I can always see my grandparents and family.  I remember being in college and my one roommate was from New Hampshire and she was so excited for the end of the semester because she got to go home.  I don’t know how people do it when they can’t go home or they have a loved one over seas serving our county.

I wish that everyone could be with their families during Christmas because it is such a good time to sit around and talk.  I know that growing up I thought Christmas was all about what you got and not about family.  After I had my daughter everything changed because it was no longer about me.  As you know I placed my daughter for adoption but it was fun to get the pictures of her first Christmas and see how happy she was.  I love watching little kids reactions when they open their presents and see what they got.

I hope that everyone gets to go home for Christmas so they can spend it with their families and loved ones!

Super Skyler

I found this blog last year around this time of year because the radio station I listen to in the morning does a Secret Santa at Christmas time and this lady was chosen as one of the families that they were helping.  After I heard her and her son’s story on the radio I started reading there blog.  Let me just say in the year I have been reading their blog her son Skyler has truly become my hero.  I have watching him fight and fight.  I am amazed that someone so young can keep smiling having gone through everything he has gone through.  I know there are adults out there that couldn’t deal with what this little boy has.  He was recently granted a wish for Make A Wish Foundation.  He wanted a game room so they made him one.  Seeing the joy on his face made me smile.  It was so good to see him happy and smiling.  Right now he is doing so well and I hope that it stays that way.   You really need to go check out his mom’s blog and read his story.  He is an amazing little boy with more courage that I have as an adult.  My one Christmas wish this year is that he has many more birthdays to come!
