The Perfect Brother by Chris Patchell hooked me right from the start.   This is the first book I have read by this author, and I will check out other books by her in the future.  This book had just the right amount of suspense in it.  It kept me reading the book but not so much that I didn’t want to read.  The author did a great job of making me understand why the characters did what they did, and she also made me feel like I was there with the characters.  She did a great job of making the world that she built in the book come to life as I was reading.  This is one of those books that just when I thought I figured out what was going on in the book, I would turn the page and find out that I was wrong.  This book kept me on the edge of my seat as I was reading it, and I enjoy books that do that from time to time.  This is a longer book, but I was still about to read it in just a few days because it was a fast read.  If you are looking for a suspense book to read this fall, I would pick this one because I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.
