The Old Man’s Request by Joab Stieglitz was an interesting book to say the least.  I did have a hard time staying interested in this book but because it was a shorter book, I was able to read it all in a few hours.  This is the first book in the series and since I did read this book, I am now thinking about reading the other books in the series because I want to know what is going to happen next and how it all works out in the end.  This isn’t a book that I would usually pick up, but I am glad that I did get it to review because I love finding new authors and also getting books that I usually wouldn’t pick up because I have so many great authors and books.  This book also has supernatural aspects in it, so I enjoyed that as well.  If you are looking for an easy read and something a little bit different than I would recommend this book.
