Elinore’s New Sleeping Spot

This is where I found Miss Elinore this afternoon!  Apparently her new favorite sleeping spot is in with my dirty clothes.  She is the strangest cat that we have ever had.  She is always doing something weird or screwy that is for sure.  She must like how dirty clothes feel that is for sure.  I am worried about what is going on in her head at times.  At least she is safe and happy!

Saturday

Well today was an extra long day to say the least.  It seemed like it went on forever not to mention I helped Misti move Ron’s stuff and hurt my back again.  I knew she need my help and I also knew it was better if I lifted most of the heavy stuff because of  the rods in her back.  So I did what I had to do.  I hope that Ron will see what we have done for him.  I know he will see what Misti has done I just home that he will see what other people have done.
Football wasn’t bad today.  Both teams won but they didn’t play well at all.  Like Josh at least they both won.  At least no one got stomped on.  I am just about done watching the U play though.  I wish they would start playing more of the game.  It seems like they only play about a quater of the whole game.  If they would play the whole game the would amaze people.  I also think that the U needs to find a new quarter back.  The one that they are using now totally sucks!  He can’t seem to throw the ball very well at all.  Then again neither can Hall.  He needs to have his eyes checked because he keeps throwing to the wrong team all the damn time.  All in all it was an ok football weekend.
I am totally depressed right now and I am not sure why.  Last night I just got really depressed and it didn’t go away today.  I think it I just have alot going on right now and it has finally all gotten to me.  I think wrecking my car has gotten to me along with everything else that is going on right now in my life.  I think I may be trying to please to many people at once and since I don’t feel like I am doing a good job at anything I am super depressed about it all.  I know I will be a little bit better once my car is done but god only knows when that will be.  I am also scared that if Ron gets out on the 1st that Misti won’t have anymore time for me.  It is hard to know that once he gets out I will have to take my place on the back burner once again.  Oh well nothing I can do to change that.  If she is happy then that is all that matters I guess.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!  Will post more tomorrow or Monday!

Advice

An Angel says, ‘Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn’t happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.’
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time..
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don’t lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can’t do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don’t use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

Cute Puppy & Pig

A giant farm dog and a tiny piglet cuddle up as if they were family after the baby runt was dismissed by its own mother.
Surrogate mum Katjinga, an eight-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, took on motherly duties for grunter Paulinchen - a tiny pot-bellied pig - and seems to be taking the adoption in her stride. Lonely Paulinchen was luckily discovered moments from death and placed in the care of the dog who gladly accepted it as one of her own. Thankfully for the two-week old mini porker, Katjinga fell in love with her at first sight and saved her bacon.
Motherly love: Baby piglet feeds on its new surrogate mum
And the unlikely relationship has made the wrinkly piggy a genuine sausage dog. In these adorable images Paulinchen can even be seen trying to suckle from her gigantic new mum.
The two animals live together on a huge 20-acre farm in Hoerstel, Germany, where Katjinga’s owners Roland Adam, 54, and his wife Edit, 44, a bank worker, keep a pair of breeding Vietnamese pigs.
Nose place like home: The baby piglet nuzzles up to its new mum
Property developer Roland found the weak and struggling piglet after she was abandoned by the rest of her family one evening after she was born.
He said: “The pigs run wild on our land and the sow had given birth to a litter of five in our forest
“I found Paulinchen all alone and when I lifted her up she was really cold.
Feeding time: Piglet’s new canine mother has no problem providing milk for the youngster
“I felt sure some local foxes would have taken the little pig that very night so I took it into my house and gave her to Katjinga.
“She had just finished with a litter of her own, who are now 10 months, so I thought there was a chance she might take on the duties of looking after her.
“Katjinga is the best mother you can imagine. She immediately fell in love with the piggy. Straight away she started to clean it like it was one of her own puppies.
“Days later she started lactating again and giving milk for the piggy. She obviously regards it now as her own baby.”
Mum of the year? Quite possibly.

Women

A middle-aged woman
Seemed sheepish as she
Visited her gynecologist.
‘Come now,’ coaxed the doctor,
‘you’ve been seeing me for years!
There’s nothing you can’t tell me.’
‘This one’s kind of strange…’
‘Let me be the judge of that,’
The doctor replied.
‘Well,’ she said, ‘yesterday I went to the bathroom in the morning and heard a plink-plink-plink in the toilet and when I looked down, the water was full of pennies.’
‘I see.’
‘That afternoon I went to the bathroom again and, plink-plink-plink, there were nickels in the bowl.’
‘That night,’ she went on, ‘I went again,
Plink-plin k-plink, and there were dimes and this morning there were quarters !
You’ve got to tell me what’s wrong with me!,’ she implored,
‘I’m scared out of my wits!’
The gynecologist put a comforting
Hand on her shoulder.
‘There, there, it’s nothing to be scared about.’
(Ready for this?)
(I’m warning you…..)
‘You’re simply going through the change!

A Wedding Worth Remembering!

Her name is Katie Kirkpatrick, 21 yrs old. Next to her is her fiancé, Nick, 23.This picture was taken prior to their wedding January 11th, 2005. Katie has terminal cancer and spends hours in chemotherapy. Here Nick awaits while she finishes one of the sessions… Even in pain and dealing with her organs shutting down, with the help of morphine, Katie took care of every single part of the wedding planning. Her dress had to be adjusted several times due to Katie’s constant weight loss. An expected guest was her oxygen tank. Katie had to use it during the ceremony and reception. The other couple in this picture is Nick’s parents, very emotional with the wedding and of course to see their son marrying the girl he fell in love when he was an adolescent. Katie, in a wheel chair listening to her husband and friends singing to her. In the middle of the party, Katie had to rest for a bit and catch her breath. The pain does not allow her to stand for long period of time. Katie died 5 days after her wedding. To see a fragile woman dressed as a bride with a beautiful smile makes you think… happiness is always there within reach, no matter how long it lasts…..lets enjoy life and don’t live a complicated life.
